In my whitepaper I’ve published (also as an article in the ICCA newsletter), titled, “Why every mainframe programmer/contractor needs to know business-to-business XML applications”, getting mainframe data parsed and sent to customers in a timely matter is a increasing important today and the future technology world we live in.
In the writing, I’ve brought forward the processes, request, response, 32k processing and all important security.
Do you feel there is any other need that is missed?

Published
Do you feel to be an expert in your field, our case computer contractors, does one need to publish?
I’ve published over the years most recently for the ICCA newsletter titled, ‘Why Every Mainframe Programmer/Contractor Needs to Know Business-to-Business XML Applications”. After this was published, I received a 30 percent rate increase for a project.
Input, comments, or experience with this?

Welcome
Welcome to computer contractor blog. My name is Dan Singleton and I have been contracting as an independent since 1992.
My intention here is to communicate with all independent contractors the good, bad and ugly. Issues that concern us today and how to overcome with them. On one person has all the answers. I feel sharing on this will help.
Enjoy.
Dan :)
